Analyis of Survey of "Eco-technology for Leather Production"

Two interviewers of Hong Kong Productivity Council had conducted a survey of "Eco-technology for Leather Production" with 27 companies. The interviews were conducted by means of questionnaires via either telephone conversations or direct meetings. From all the collected questionnaires, it is learned that the majority of these companies operating in Hong Kong, with a total number of 21 companies (77%), are small and medium enterprises, while there are only 2 companies (7.4%) have more than 500 staff. However, it is found that the number of staff relocating to Mainland China or overseas is greater than those stationing in Hong Kong; there are 7 companies with more than 500 staff.
